Set of digital photographs taken in the fall and winter of 2011-2012 in the Chevreuse Valley on the one hand, and the Avon-Fontainebleau region on the other, near the houses where I had aonly lived at the time, first in my childhood, then in my teenage years.

 

It was moreover while looking for my motives for this first series of photographs that I was able to realize that I had then somehow always lived a few steps away from vast empty spaces, reservoirs left dry, like large grayish openings left hollow in the maps of these cities where I grew up, and perhaps, also, in my mind and my imagination...

The ensemble was first compiled in three separate series, united in a single edition in 2012, with three independent removable booklets, and photographs designed to be detachable individually.
